Cossack’s cucumbers are the pickled cucumbers in a mustard marinate. The cucumbers are perfect addition to Polish dinners, they are perfect with meat.

The Polish-style pickled cucumber has been exported worldwide and is found in the cuisines of many countries. It is sour, similar to kosher dills, but tends to be seasoned differently. It is usually preserved in wooden barrels.

The secret of pickled cucumbers relies on picking cucumbers of similar sizes: neither too small, nor too big, or too ripened, or too green, neither too close to the earth, nor too exposed to the heat of the sun.
